Everyone keeps asking me if everything is going well. Honestly, I have no idea. But I assume so, or my doctor would tell me, right? lol
Baby Boy is quite active. At least I think he is. One of my favorite things is laying on the couch and watching Jace put his hands on my tummy and put his face close to it and yell "Come out! Come out, wherever you are!" It's hilarious. But what makes it great, is that baby boy will respond by rolling and bopping around. He loves it when Chad and Jace both talk to him. He doesn't do it for everyone. But! He did bop Mom's hand this past weekend on my visit to IN when she asked. lol
Speaking of IN, I traveled up Friday afternoon with my good friend, Kim, to attend a baby shower that my mom and step-mom put together. It was great. It was a small get-together including real family and those considered family by myself.
It was a good time. We had an amazing cake! It was a baby butt but let me tell you, it was delicious!!!!
We got several things we needed and some cute things to use. :) Here are our favorites as determined by the votes last night. I'm sure they will change. LOL
This hippo bather is Jace's favorite. It's pretty darn cute, I'll admit. But as far as last night and this morning are concerned I'm pretty sure I will be having to hide this to avoid him tearing it up! haha
The new cookie sheet is Chad's favorite. LOL We didn't have a wedding shower so... our current cookie sheets are all hand-me-downs that are all very well used. So Chad is pretty excited to have a brand-new one. lol
Now, this is my current favorite. This diaper bag is made of some sort of durable material. The inside is lined with a plastic lining of sorts. And! The pockets and all are clear so you can see what's in what pocket/pouch. And the inside is that green color so you can see easily. It's big. Holds a lot of stuff. I used it to help get things home. (It's full of all kinds of things right now!)
Another great thing about my trip was that my step-grandparents were able to make a trip down thanks to my step uncle and aunt.
Here;s a picture of us after dinner. :) I was so glad to spend some time with them. I don't get many opportunities to see them and once baby comes, I know it'll be even harder to get together.
It was a nice trip. I wish the boys could've gone with me, but not this time.
I have my next doctor appointment this week. Hoping everything measures well and that things are still ok. The only thing that I'm worried about at this point is baby coming early. We definitely do NOT want that to happen.
Other than that all seems well. I'm huge. We're talking with the bank to see if we can get a loan for a house, and still trying to find said house... or a house to rent. We'll see! haha. Still no name for baby boy yet. And we're still the only people that that doesn't seem to bother. oh, well. It's our baby! :)
Well, I know it was very over due but... I don't really have anything else to share!
