when did that happen?

I have always been the kind of person who knew how to express happy and I knew how to express anger... but the "gray" feelings, not so much.  All my life these "gray" feelings have come out as stages of anger... until recently. Over the course of the past 11 months I have truly taught myself how to cry.  So now when I am upset about something, disappointed, hurt, etc instead of yelling and holding it inside.  I still get angry about some things that I probably shouldn't, but I am a work in progress.

There are a couple of things though that I am ok crying over openly now.
  • loved ones dying
  • loved ones of loved ones dying
  • being treated poorly by those I should be able to trust (this one took the longest)
  • missing my husband. (that one took a while...)
  • being so far away from my family.
  • neglected children
  • broken families
  • those that just can't seem to get a break.
  • being lonely
  • good people with bad things happening to them
  • failing and the fear of
  • babies being born :)
  • really good things happening to people
But there are other things that still just flat make me angry.
  • people who neglect their children
  • people who use other people
  • being cheated out of something
  • people that don't care about others.
  • people taking others for granted
  • people who don't know how to listen or hear.
  • judgemental people, the kind that judge before even trying to understand.
  • bad drivers... really bad drivers...
  • drunk drivers
  • drug dealers
  • my neighbors
  • gas prices
  • unflushed toilets
  • poor internet connections that drop Skype calls (in case you were wondering that is the only one on this list that includes Chad)
I have a lot of work to do (obviously). That second list is much longer than I think it should be.  But I am thankful for my family and my husband who love me no matter what. :) and a God who will help me grow in the ways I should.
